Do you build the home?

We don’t build the home ourselves. Renfrew and Burnstown Castle supply the materials, drawings, and support needed to move your project forward. Most customers bring their own contractor, but if you’re new to the area or don’t know who to call, we’re happy to recommend trusted local builders.

How does a building package help with planning my project?

It keeps the early stages organized. Instead of sourcing materials, drawings, and design advice separately, your package brings everything together so you know exactly what you’re starting with. It also helps your contractor price and schedule your project more accurately, since the materials arrive in planned stages.

Are the homes pre-built or move-in ready?

No — our Building Packages are not pre-built homes. They include the architectural drawings and core materials needed to build on your own lot.

What should I expect when I purchase a building package?

You’ll receive organized plans and structural materials tailored to your chosen model, along with design support to help you finalize your drawings. From there, we coordinate your materials in stages based on your contractor’s schedule so your project stays on track. Interior finishes and labour are chosen separately, which gives you full flexibility as your build progresses.

Can I customize the plans?

Absolutely! Most customers make adjustments to the pre-designed models, and our team can walk you through those changes. If your project requires a fully custom home design, we can also connect you with our Monarch Homes & Design team for a deeper custom-build planning experience.

How long does the process usually take?

Timelines depend on your project, the level of customization, and your contractor’s schedule.
